| A Green Foot Print |
 |
| BIT introduces a unique tradition of Planting Saplings. Both staff and students will each plant a sapling and nurture it. Besides reflecting BIT’s strong commitment to the environment, each sapling symbolizes the student whose potential BIT will nurture and bring to fruition. |

BIT is an all residential campus, as we believe students will receive the full benefit of our offering only if they reside here.
A great amount of thought, planning and design has gone into the making of BIT’s campus. The primary intention was to create a campus that invites nature in while fulfilling the demands of an integrated environment for learning, teaching and residing. Taking forward the Bearys Group’s sustainable, green vision, the campus adheres to norms and guidelines of Green Building Architecture.
Enter BIT and the warm red brick facade of the main college building welcomes the visitor into an unintimidating, friendly campus. Landscaped gardens and lush planting surround all learning and residential spaces. Classrooms are spacious, technology enabled, cool yet suffused with natural light. A large, fully equipped auditorium is centrally located to facilitate curricular and extra curricular activities. Student residences are spacious, private and facilitated with everything a student may need for living and learning in comfort. The campus cafeteria caters to all tastes and serves nutritious, well balanced meals.
Our campus, through its various Clubs, promotes student involvement in issues beyond narrow academic pursuits. We offer NCC, NSS and other community based initiatives. Intercollegiate sports meets and cultural fests held annually enhance personality development, enable talent discovery and provide opportunities for our students to meet with their extended peer group |
